Trains and planes and buses and trains
We choose the hottest day of the year to be on non air-conditioned buses and trains. The plane from Paris to London was the opposite - freezing cold. We left the hotel in Paris at 11am and reached Naomi's place in Canterbury at 6.30pm - hot and bothered and sick of public transport.
Wed: We sat around ALL day watching TV. It was still hot.
Thurs: We say around ALL day watching TV then went to the pub for dinner. It was even hotter.
