Went on a fruitless hunt for a physio today - walked about 5 kms but both were closed. Damn phone doesn't work and as it's all in French so I can't figure out why. I can't even call the "free help line".

Went to the Last Post ceremony again and had a long chat to the resident artist Soren Hawkes. He is a British historian living and working in Ieper and does the most beautiful and poignant drawings of ghost soldiers at Menin Gate (and lots of other stuff). Margaret and I each chose one of his prints and we are thinking of getting him to do a commission of the 4 Smythe boys.
