Lazy Day

Boyard-Ville, Poitou-Charentes, France
Friday, June 15, 2012

Did some housework, took care of some overdue tasks, cleaned all the crumbs out of the top box, turned all my gear upside down and inside out looking for my helmetlok and then at 10am wandered over to the café for a BOWL of coffee. No I'm not kidding!

Sun was shining so I went for a cruise around the island. Not much of an island really. Nice roads, interesting villages - much like the rest of France. (I think I need a change of scenery).

I explored the backroads down the west coast and wish I hadn't. They were in shocking condition - the type of road to loosen all your nuts. What should have been a lovely cruisey ride with glimpses of beach and nice Mediterranean looking houses, was a nightmare of great length and many miles before I could get back to the main road.

Dinner in Crescendo's - great cheap food and free internet. Can't get better than that!
