The BOSS' Buddy
When the BOSS was in America for a year, she met some amazing young ladies who were also au pairs. They all offered much needed support and friendship to each other and helped the BOSS cope with some challenging times.
One of those lovely young ladies is Lisa who is currently working and studying in Lucerne.
The day was drizzly and grey but I just donned the wet weathers and headed east for 100kms. It was nice riding through little villages and low green hills. The rain held off most of the way and I got to Lucerne at 11am. I contemplated getting the train as it would actually take less time than riding but the cost was 80Fr. Bit rich when petrol will only be 10Fr.
Lisa and I met under the arch next to the 300 metres of free motorcycle parking right at the central train station. We wandered off to have a look around the city and soon the rain caught up with us. We found a lovely café and had some lunch and by the time we had finished, so had the rain.
We explored some more and talked a lot. It's so nice chatting to someone the BOSS' age again - made me miss her all the more.
After lots more wandering and lots more talking I had to sadly leave Lisa and Lucerne and return to Bern.
